Charles C. Pak's broad corporate and transactional practice has included the representation of a myriad of clients in various sectors.  Such practice has included the representation of acquirers, sellers, private equity funds, sponsor groups and financial advisers in various public and private M&A transactions, including in the bankruptcy or distressed sale context; representation of issuers, underwriters and institutional investors in public and private financing transactions; representation of both companies and investors in venture capital financings; and the representation of early stage, emerging growth, middle market and Fortune 500 companies, and their respective boards of directors, in connection with various operational issues, significant transactional matters, joint ventures and strategic alternatives and corporate governance matters.


His professional experience includes tenures with leading AmLaw100 law firms, including Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Reed Smith LLP.  Prior to founding Paladin Advisers, he was a partner and founding member of a Los Angeles corporate practice group and co-chair of a private equity subpractice group during his partnership tenures.  Paladin Advisers maintains strategic relationships with such firms.

Charles received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law.
